Why do we accept violence? We're becoming immune towards war, terrorism, poverty, torture, corruption, starvation, slavery and death, destruction. It's sickening.
And how come we have to vote on civil rights?
Our world is messed up.
Increase in greenhouse gases - global warming
I always come across people who talk about global warming, and they mix everything up with the greenhouse effect and when you sit down to have a discussion about this with them you find out that they actually don’t know shit.
So, I felt the need to clear things up. The greenhouse effect is something that is essential for life on earth, something that we need in order to be able to live here. Without the greenhouse gases, you and your ignorant ass wouldn’t be here.
Greenhouse gases are gases in the Earth’s atmosphere. They trap energy from the sun and keep it within our atmosphere. Carbon dioxide, methane, oxides of nitrogen, sulphur dioxide - these gases are the reason for why heat is retained in the Earth’s atmosphere. Without the greenhouse gases the Earth’s average temperature would be many, many degrees lower than it is now, making our planet uninhabitable.
The heat preservation, or whatever you may want to say, is called the greenhouse effect. Natural processes produce greenhouse gases so this is not a new phenomenon of some sort. It’s a natural part of our planet.
BUT, due to human activities such as pollution and combustion, have decreased the amount of green house gases and so their atmospheric concentration, making the greenhouse effect to rise. And the rise in the green house effect is correlated with the temperature increase on Earth, thus - global warming.
As the concentration of the greenhouse gases increase, the more heat is trapped in the atmosphere because less of these gases can escape back into space. The rise in trapped heat changes the climate and changes weather patterns. This may cause some species to extinct as they lose their habitat or they fail to adjust to the new climate. The whole ecosystem can get fucked up if one specie (or a producer) from one of the trophic levels die out. Global warming also influence the length of seasons, it can cause coastal flooding, and lead to more frequent and severe storms.
Make a difference!
1.Save energy:
- Turn off the lights when you’re not in the room
- Unplug your electronics when you’re not using them
- Walk instead of driving – or take the bus/train.
You will save more energy than you think!
2. Turn to renewable energy
- Look into using wind, water, or solar power.
This will decrease your need for combustible fuels.
3. Limit waste
- Recycle
- Reduce
- Reuse
Small changes, big difference!
Adam and Eve walking with dinosaurs? BULLSHIT.
Did Adam and Eve walk with dinosaurs? According to the biblical creation account in Genesis 1 the dinosaurs would have been made on day sixth day< the day of the creation of Adam and Eve. So, dinosaurs must’ve been created before Adam, along with the other animals. That would mean that Adam and Eve did live with dinosaurs. WTF?! It doesn’t make any fuckin goddamn sense.
Dinosaurs are an archaeological reality; it is scientifically proven that dinosaurs became extinct about 65 million years ago and the Bible states that Adam and Eve lived about 6 to 7 thousand years ago. They couldn’t have possibly met.
Also, it is proven that todays animals and humans(!!!) didn’t exist at the same time as the dinosaurs. IMPOSSIBLE. No fossils. No evidence. No nothing. It’s called EVOLUTION.
Evo-fuckin-lution!
And also, if we were to believe the Bible, Adam and Eve certainly walked with dinosaurs, lions, snakes, bears, spiders and other extremely dangerous creatures without getting harmed. How realistic is that?
According to Genesis 2:20, "And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field..." I don’t see no goddamn dinosaur mention in the Bible.
And btw, where were the fuckin cavemen?

The Story of Adam and Eve
Ever thought about the story of Adam and Eve as “metaphorical”? Think again.
In this story, the existence of death and suffering are consequences to the 'sin' of eating from the 'tree of knowledge'. According to the Bible, there was no death or suffering before this happened. Adam and Eve were innocent, and as they obeyed a serpent that told them to eat from the tree, God punished them by inflicting death and suffering upon them and all their ancestors, including making childbirth painful for women. (WTF?!)
The story fails miserably to present any valid morals and instead proposes that it is fucking acceptable to punish people for the sins of others (dude c’mon?) and that death is an appropriate punishment for disobedience. Also, Adam and Eve's children must have slept with their own parents! (WARING: INCEST!) This is an immoral story that we shouldn't tell children until they are old enough to understand it as a religious(!!) myth(!!). God is clearly shown to be a bad parent, an uncaring parent.
The Abrahamic religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism all contain the myth of Adam and Eve as the first two created people. Genetically, incest results in mutations, infertile offspring and retardation. I hate to break it to you but this would mean that our ancestors were retarded (...well, by looking at the world, mainly America, I would say that this actually provides evidence for the Adam and Eve story but never mind).
After Adam and Eve had children, how the hell did they proceed onto the third generation? Their children must have slept with each other (but they were both male?) so they probably fucked their own mother. How do you explain this to a questioning child without ignoring the incest-part? Incest would have been required for at least two or three generations. The same shit applies to the story of Noah's Ark.
But the main problem here is not morals, because it can be argued that just because it is immoral does not mean that it didn't happen. The main problem here is freakin biological. Incest causes severe retardation (once again, by looking at the US, it serves as good evidence for this but let’s ignore that), mutation and infertility. There is scientific evidence for this! It happens all the time to isolated human populations even when there are more than two families!
Moving on from incest to the bigger issue; Adam and Eve did not know of good and evil. They were innocent. Right? Right. Meaning, they did not know of deceit, lust, anger or evil. The serpent lied to them but they would obviously not have known that the serpent's intents were evil. They couldn't have known, so they believed what the serpent said. But ask yourself, is this Adam and Eve's fault? If God knew that they would have believed the serpent, why didn’t God stop the serpent? God could more than easily have picked the serpent up and thrown it out of the Garden of Eve.
All I’m saying is that, if impurity or evil are reasons for God throwing you out of the Garden of Eden, then God should have thrown the serpent out. Now, you might say that God created the serpent to test Adam and Eve. But if you think about it, it is illogical as God would have known that Adam and Eve did not know or understand evil and could not have mistrusted the serpent. It couldn’t have possibly been a fucking test! It makes no logical goddamn sense to claim that the Adam and Eve story is a true explanation of morality, evil or mankind's imperfection. Mankind is not perfect. If God exists, then He created mankind as not perfect. The Adam and Eve story FAILS. It is an immoral story, because God punishes people who chose an action without knowing that such a choice was bad.
Also, a death threat is not a suitable punishment for eating from the tree of knowledge. Death should not serve as a punishment for curiosity or disobedience. This story only demonstrates God's wrath and anger and shows us that God is not fucking forgiving. If we use this story as an example for ethical thinking, we can conclude that we can kill or shorten the lives of those who do not do as we say!
So, according to the Bible, this is why people suffer and why humans die,; because Adam & Eve disobeyed God. Is it really morally right to punish someone for someone else's actions? How can we even consider encouraging our children to think like that?
Punishing one person for the actions of another is im-fuckin-moral. If we use the Adam and Eve story to explain evil, suffering and death then we are saying that God is immoral and not forgiving. Judging Adam and Eve even when they didn't know the difference between good and evil, when they couldn't understand that the serpent tricked them, is also immoral.
Paul Alan Laughlin wrote:
“A woman bakes a batch of cookies for a party. She warns her twins, aged 3, to not eat any. She explained to them, deceitfully, that if they did, then she would kill them. Not thinking things through carefully, she placed the cookies on a table, easily accessible to the twins. A brother who was older, wiser and more mature than the twins asked whether their mother had forbidden them to eat anything in the house. The girl twin, Edna, said that mother had only forbidden them to eat the cookies -- on pain of death. The older brother chuckled and told his sister that parents did that a lot. He said: "Of course she wouldn't kill you. She simply wants to deny you the pleasure of munching on the cookies. She doesn't want to share the cookies. She wants to keep them all to herself." Edna does exactly what any adult could predict: she eats one. Then, she persuades her twin brother Albert to eat another.
The mother returns, not aware of the twin's disobedience. She notices crumbs on the table and on the twins' lips. She correctly concludes that the twins have eaten cookies. She flies into a rage, beats them, and throws them out of the house to fend for themselves. She cuts them out of her will. She does all she can to make the lives of any future descendents of the twins miserable."
Does she sound like a good mother to you? The kind of parent you would want to be to your kids? A crazy-ass motherfucker who doesn't have any love or compassion? Guess who the “mother” is? Yes, God. Any parent who acts like this is lacking love, compassion, intelligence and morals, yet this is exactly how God acts in the Genesis story of Adam and Eve.
All I have to say is, WHAT THE FUCK?
I've had enough
I want to scream, I want to cry, I want the whole world to listen to me. I want to destroy all evil - war, poverty, slavery, discrimination, racism, corruption, torture. I want people to hear what I have to say. I want the whole world to hear me scream. I want to do things I'm not capable of doing alone. Too many thoughts to fit in the universe, to fit in my head. I can't take it any longer.
"Be the change you want to see in the world" - I'm trying to, I'm trying so hard. But I feel suffocated. I feel like I'm just another small organism in an enormous, never-ending universe, so powerless, yet still so powerful. I know I can do something. Something that won't matter if you look at the big picture, but that will matter if you zoom in; if you zoom in and take a look at the individuals. Individual lives. Individual souls. Unique human beings. Unique hearts beating. It does matter. One human, one life, one soul - it matters.
But I want to do greater things. I want to create a world where there's no spill of innocent blood. Do we really need pain and torture in order to know what good is? Do we need war to know what peace is? To know what love is? Oh you Metaphysical view of the world, save me.
Seize the moment. You can try all you want to freeze it, to own it. Go ahead and squeeze it, hold it in the palm of your hand. Do whatever is in your power to seize the moment right here, right now. It's not coming back. Take one life - one moment; a split second. Gone forever. Do we need death in order to know how to live?
I'm sick of this world. Hear me scream.
Where the fuck do we get our values from?
Don't you think it's quite absurd that people in less fortunate countries in the Middle East and the southern parts of Africa have to look through garbage and trash in order to find something to eat? That these people suffer everyday from starvation, while people in America and Europe intentionally throw up their food? Where the fuck do we get our values from? This is not supposed to happen here! People who have access to food and clean water are not supposed to die from starvation or O.D from diet pills? What the hell kind of image of beauty have we created? I'm not gonna sit here say how much I suffer with anorexics or bulimics. Those people don’t suffer from a “disease”. A disease is something you can't help. Cancer, HIV, etc - those are illnesses. If a rich cunt wants to throw up then I don't give a shit. People like that are stupid. I don't get how some people think. We're living in a fucked up world.

Changing to the better
People have to stop referring to the Bible to prove their point! How relevant is the Bible today? If we were to fallow the Bible word by word we would be stuck with a non-functioning society! We must constantly keep changing to the better. This is how we progress as a society. It’s called Evolution! We realize our past mistakes and create new laws. If we were to keep the laws as they've always been and stop creating new laws we would be living in a society which discriminates several groups of people! Did you know that, for example, interracial marriages used to be forbidden? But the society keeps developing and as we're changing, we keep reforming and making up new laws and rules in order to fallow human rights and function as a democracy! Stop living in the past!
Homosexual equality
Homosexual equality is today a human rights issue.
The Christians who oppose homosexual equality and marriage equality for same-sex couples seems to always turn to the Bible to make a point, or rather "prove" their point. Their religion’s dogma is driving me in-fuckin-sane.
Did you know that by being legally married, you get several civil rights, privileges and protections provided under the law? But this applies to married couples only. But for some reason, the Christians want to define homosexuals as second class citizens. An entire class of people! This is discrimination. A civil rights issue. A moral issue. A human rights issue.
WHY IS THE CHURCH AND THE STATE MIXED? Get the state OUT OF the church!
The Problem of Evil
The argument as presented by atheist goes “How can a perfectly good God exist at the same time as so much evil and suffering exists?” Basically, how can we love and worship God when He allows us to suffer in these ways?
Epicurus was an ancient Greek philosopher who suggested that:
- If a perfectly good god exists, then there is no evil in the world.
- There is evil in the world.
- Therefore, a perfectly good god does not exist.
This can also be formulated in another way:
1. A good God would destroy evil.
2. An all powerful God could destroy evil.
3. Evil is not destroyed.
4. Therefore, there cannot possibly be such a good and powerful God.
God is declared to be all-good and all powerful in the Bible. If God is all-good, he should want to stop evil; if he is omnipotent, he could stop it; but evil exists in the world, so God lacks either all-goodness (if he can stop evil but does not want to) or he’s lacking omnipotence (if he wants to stop evil, but cannot), or he’s lacking both.
Theodicies are arguments presented by the religious groups as justifications and reasons as to why God and evil can exist.
Basically, a theodicy is an attempt to provide justifications for the existence of God. From the religious side, that is.
Definitions of God:
Omnipotent = all-powerful
Omniscient = all-knowing
Omnibenevolent = all-loving/good
One theodicy claims that the source of evil is not the Creator but the creature's freely choosing sin and selfishness. By taking away all sin and selfishness you would have a peaceful world. What this refers to is basically free will. The free will theodicy claims that God could not eliminate evil and suffering without thereby eliminating the greater good of having created us with free will. If God is omniscient, i.e. all-knowing, how can you possibly have free will? Cause he already knows your future and everything that is going to happen. Your life is supposedly predestined. There’s also a lot of suffering and evil that’s not the result of free will, such as natural disasters, so free will could not actually account for all suffering, only some of it. Natural disasters are caused because people sin, according to religious group. But why does God make innocent people suffer? Why are hundreds of thousands of innocent people lacking basic human rights? Why is a child born being HIV positive? Does that child deserve that? What kind of all-loving God would let innocent people get tortured because of other peoples sins? How can this God possibly have good morals? If God was Omnibenevolent he would not have created suffering in the first place.
There’s also another theodicy which claims that we need evil in the universe in order to be able to know that there is good. If God was really Omnibenevolent he would not have neglected to make the good that we are apparently lacking. Also, isn't this in a sense, suggesting that good and evil aren't moral judgements?
Religious groups also say that suffering exists because we need to experience or have knowledge of it. This is yet another justification as for why suffering exists but couldn’t God have just given us innate knowledge of evil, rather than let us experience it directly and let innocent people suffer tremendously?
The Test theodicy says that earthly life is just a test. That God has put us on earth, in a world which is full of evil and meaningless suffering in order to find out what kind of beings we are. And without all the pointless suffering, his test would not be complete. If we pass, we go to heaven. If we fail, we go to hell. If God is omniscient then he would already know whether we are going to "fail" or "pass" his test. If he is truly omniscient, then the test would be pointless in the first place. And if you’re still religious and for some reason believe in free will, your free will was created by God, so that still makes him the source of evil.
There’s also the Devil-theodicy which claims that evil entered our world as a result of Satan’s fall and therefore Satan is the initiator of evil. But if God was really omnipotent i.e. all-powerful, why can’t he defeat Satan? Now, what kind of God is that?
Basically, if God is all-powerful and all-good, he would have created a universe with no suffering and no evil. But, evil and suffering exist. God is said to love us but yet there is war, disease, death, destruction, hunger, filth, poverty, torture, crime, corruption, slavery and the list goes on and on. And the sad part is most of those suffering are innocent people! It seems that if there is a God, it is not the all-loving and all-good moral being that these religions want us to believe. The explanation that suffering is the absence of good or that evil is required for humans to know what good is, is just simply not enough to explain why God created suffering in the first place.
I’m going to end this with a series of questions which Epicurus gave rise to:
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then is he powerless. Is he able, but not willing? Then is he malevolent. Is he both able to prevent evil and also willing? Then why is there evil in the world?

Aspirin
Generally a drug or medicine is any chemical which does one or more of the fallowing:
1. alters incoming sensory sensations
2. alters mood or emotions
3. alters the physiological state
You're taking drugs without even knowing it!
Aspirin is ethanoate ester of salicylic acid. It's a mild analgesic and it works by preventing a certain enzyme (prostaglandin synthase) from being formed at the site of the injury or pain (which would eventually produce fever and swelling). The most common side-effect of aspirin is that is causes bleeding in the lining of the stomach. This painkiller can also be taken for arthritis and rheumatism; it prevents blood clotting as well so it's also taken to prevent strokes or the recurrence of heart attacks. Allergies to it can lead to bronchial asthma. An overdose can lead to acidosis as it is lowering the pH of the blood. This could be fatal.
Just thought everybody should know that "drugs" is not always what you think it is.

Democracy
I don't get people who don't vote. If you are living in a democratic country where you have the right to vote and to make a difference in the society that you are living in, why not take that opportunity? It's your right!
This is what differs us from dictatorships! This is what are ancestors fought for! This is the reason for why people all over the world die! They die because they fight for their rights to decide how they want their country to be ruled! There are people who would give their right arm to have what we have, and so it pisses me off when people don't vote. Those shitty ungrateful people don't deserve to live in a democracy.
We need to learn how to appreciate the liberty that we have. We have to learn to be grateful for the fact that we are free. We can decide which government we want. We can make a difference. We have to remember why people are being tortured and slaughtered all around the world. We have to learn that this is what differs us from a dictatorship - the people have the power.
